The validation of TrueNat MTB RIF assay is being undertaken for Pulmonary, Extrapulmonary and Pediatric TB.
Pulmonary TB: The validation studies for the indigenous diagnostic assay TrueNATMTB RIF have been completed. A national study on the operational feasibility of the test in field settings has been planned in 100 District Microscopy Centres in 10 statesacross India. Timeline - 6 months
Extrapulmonary TB: The Consortium is moving forward with the validation study of TrueNAT MTB RIF in EPTB cases. The study is multicentric. Timeline 1 - year
Pediatric TB: The Consortium is moving forward with the validation study of TrueNAT MTB RIF in pediatric TB cases. The study is multicentric. Timeline 1 - year
